This week on Written, Inc., it's "Past It's Prime" week. Here's my submission, from Frank Lloyd Wright's "Taliesin West" in Arizona:
The architecture of Taliesin West is, of course, quirky, however the Arizona sun really bakes any paint or wood. This photo might be good as a jigsaw puzzle! What do you think?
It looks like a barrier that's forgotten to come down. Now I have to find out more about Taliesin West.
ReplyDeleteOh this is fabulous! I am a fan of him and his designs. A couple Sundays ago I drove to one of his houses (Minnesota has several) and snapped some pictures of it. Strangely enough for a mild winter, the house had too much snow on it and around it and the day was so grey I'll have to venture back there again. But that's half the fun right....journey here and there.....
ReplyDeleteBeen a couple years since I made it to Arizona. Funny, here on Cacapon Mountain in West Va., it's damp so much that the porch (even though it faces southwest) has a green algae growing on some of the recently rebuilt deck wood.
ReplyDelete~
Yup. It would make a great jigsaw puzzle!
