It is really hard to not be impatient with them sometimes....On My Soapboxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17192701216999273624noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6133926508332888595.post-43891540032815853392011-06-29T09:48:20.496-07:002011-06-29T09:48:20.496-07:00I need a damn road trip!I need a damn road trip!Mrs. Picklehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00965905639937505080noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6133926508332888595.post-52631798350161743352011-06-20T13:54:46.400-07:002011-06-20T13:54:46.400-07:00Well done. It was sad because I was the only one who would listen to all her stories, and she had some doozies. Good for you for visiting your elderly friend! Nice car btw.Dr. McCoyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02785824680618255554noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6133926508332888595.post-53637030714955164472011-06-19T17:24:21.051-07:002011-06-19T17:24:21.051-07:00You are so right about visiting the elderly. I play online scrabble with one grandmother. And with two of my grandmothers I share geneology stuff with. It's fun listening to their stories; your right, it was such a different era. I had one family member at my Granddad's wake ask my cousin if there are many "coloreds" in Georgia. I almost said something, but realized that's what they said 60 years ago.J.Dayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09211819677106829508noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6133926508332888595.post-15910247613543578862011-06-19T16:27:32.177-07:002011-06-19T16:27:32.177-07:00Very pretty car! I just had a conversation with my dad tonight, who is quite senior, and should have read your list first. Sometimes it's so hard not to argue with him over little things. But as you say, his life has been a very different eraMargueritehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14377516887669269657noreply@blogger.com
